How I will connote these connotations 

To connote these connotations I will construct signs I could include photographs of females on their own in their bedroom or living room. These women could be snuggled up in a duvet with a cup of tea. I would also show a window in the background with it being night time. This could also connote the winter nights and the coldness. The women could be drinking a cup of Tea or watching television. This could connote relaxation. The colours I would include would be blues (midnight blue). I would would not have a serif font, I would have the font italic so again it connotes the relaxation.
I could also show a image of a female in the woods, dressed in warm clothing. this could connote her being independent and winter. the female could be holding folders.

College Magazine

The headline of this magazine is spread along the top. The main image is of a male in a white T-shirt and a black jacket. The image bleeds to the sides with the background being a dark grey colour fading into a washed green. The man is holding books. Cover lines surround the outline of the male. On the right hand side towards the top, is a pink 'splat'.

Cpsmo Campus

The headline of this magazine is positioned on the top left hand side of the cover. The main image is of  a women dressed in a hot pink, sweet heart dress. the women is outlined on a white background. The women is smiling which could connote happiness, confidence, natural.  There is a Subhead positioned under the head line, this subhead in in a Serif font, coloured in black. Below the subhead is text that tells you what discount you can get at certain shops. The amount of discount is in a larger text and in a hot pink colour. This immediately catches your eye. Towards the bottom of the magazine cover, a large, thick strip of yellow spreads across the image. In this strip is an advertisement of a new magazine. Again this immediately catches your eye.  

TNS Magazine

This is a student magazine for an audience of 17-25 years. The magazine has a master head at the top left hand side of the magazine. This master head is in a pink text box with white lettering 'TNS'. The main image is of a head-shot of a women with a pale face, this image bleeds onto the edge of the page. Her expression is very focused towards the audience. Around the edge of the image is  five different cover lines, advertising articles that will be included in the magazine. These cover lines are coloured hot pink and white.
