Question 5

Question 5 - How did you attract/address your audience?

I think i was successful with reaching my target audience. When I showed my magazine to my target audience who were passionate about classical music, these people all agreed that they would buy my magazine and their response was highly positive. One of the people who i interviewed believed that the colours overall but especially on the contents page was highly effective. She said that the colours and font help to recognise the genre of the magazine. When I interviewed my target audience they gave me some positives but also some criticisms.
Interviews
Name- David
Gender- male
Age- 57
Does my magazine look like a real magazine?
Yes the magazine looks like a real magazine.

Being a classical music Lister yourself, would you buy this magazine based on what i have included on the front cover?
I'm not entirely sure that the magazine appeals to me, the stories inside seem a bit feminine if you like. But i like the look of the top classical musicians or something like that that you have placed on your front cover.

do you understand the language used in the double page spread?
Yes the language is very easy to read.

Is the font clear to read?
I think on the front cover the colours that you have used on the background sink in a little. Its quite hard to see what is said. I also think that maybe the font is a little to italic on the double page spread to make out.

Looking at the double page spread, contents page and front cover is there anything that you would change?
I would maybe make the contents page a little more busy, i think it seems a little bare. Also Maybe  make the magazine look a little mescaline.

Would you change the layout of any of the magazine?
No the layout looks good. Maybe the image on the double page spread could be a bit bigger.

Being a classical music Lister yourself, does the whole magazine appeal to you?
Probably not, it think that the magazine is very feminine, and i would be more interested to look at different instruments.
